I am ecstatic to do this completely voluntary review about Good Eggs LA.
With a mission such as: “to grow and sustain local food systems worldwide”, I was immediately intrigued. With a personal passion for supporting local food in general, Good Eggs was an organization that I had to try. Who doesn’t want local groceries delivered right to your door?
Good Eggs allows you to select groceries from the best local farmers and food makers through online ordering. Your groceries are then picked and prepped for order – it doesn’t get much fresher than this. Your goods can either be delivered to you or picked up at one of several locations. Don’t get me wrong, I love my weekly visit to the farmers market, but Good Eggs LA lets you support their own mission along with local farmers and food makers.
My very first order included: Honey Almond Mini from Almond Milk LA, 1/2 dozen organic eggs from Auntie Em’s Kitchen, Original Beet Chips from South Central Farmer’s Cooperative and Organic Meyer Lemon Yogurt from Saint Benoit Creamery. I also received some complimentary goodies as well
I have to say that all of these items are delicious, but I can’t rave enough about Almond Milk LA. Almond is my milk of choice but I sometimes cringe over the unnatural additives such as thickeners and stabilizers that I am putting into my body every day. Almond Milk LA’s milk is free of preservatives and additives, leaving nothing but freshness in a glass bottle.
Good Eggs can be found in these major cities: Los Angeles, CA – San Francisco Bay, CA – New Orleans, LA – Brooklyn, NY. I highly recommend giving them a try!
Thanks again Good Eggs LA, you guys rock!
